INTRODUCTION
The revered journey of Adi Kailash & Aum parvat is located on Indo-China border and un explored regions of the Himalayas of Uttarakhand. After 75 years of independence roads have been built and thus makes this area accessible to the devotees of Shiva. The Vyas Valley where the Adi Kailash & Aum parvat are located are verdant and scenic valleys with a few small villages like Gunji, Kuti, Nabhi located. These villages were places to stop during the 18 days long trekking journey to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The people of these villages are Bhutias and are a part of Dar Clan. They are simple, caring and god fearing people living in this harsh land for centuries. During winters they migrate to base as this area experience heavy snow and sun zero degree temperatures.

BEST TIME TO VISIT

Arrive Delhi/Barielly/Kathogam and drive to Bhimtal. Upon arrival check in to your hotel. Sightseeing of Bhimtal lake. Enjoy a boat ride at Bhimtal (Direct payment basis). Dinner & overnight at hotel.
After breakfast check out from hotel and start your up hill journey to Pithoragarh. En-route to Pithoragarh visit Temple of Neem Karoli Baba at Kanchi Dham located on banks on river Kosi after a short drive of 20 Kms. After darshan and pooja further drive for 80 Kms to reach Jageshwar Temple. Upon arrival preform pooja at temple at the group of 125 Temples which is also a Jyotirlinga. Post pooja enjoy your lunch at a nearby hotel in the lap of Nature. After having sumptuous lunch drive 86 Kms and reach Pithoragarh. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the evening is free to visit local market on foot. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
After early breakfast drive to Dharchula. Upon arrival complete your formalities for Inner line permits required for your onward trip. Later check in at your guest house. Lunch at guest house. Rest of the day is free for exploring Dharchula and Nepal (Till 6 PM). At 7 PM in your guest house assemble for tour briefing and meeting your guide for onward journey. Dinner & overnight stay at guest House.
After breakfast proceed to your base camp of Adi Kailash. We shall change your vehicle on this day and you would be resuming your journey on 4x4 wheel drive vehicle. The journey is off-roading on the dirt tracks in this Himalayan region where a lot of road construction is happening. At Chialekh get your Inner line permits checked at ITBP & Army posts. Your inner line permits would be checked at Budhi, Napalchu, Kuti villages. You would come across some beautiful landscapes of the region where you can take numerous photos for your lifetime memories. Lunch at Buddhi Village. Further drive enroute driving past Villages of Gabriyang, Napalchu. As you are reaching altitude beyond 3000 meters your pace must be slow and steady. Upon arrival at your base check in your camps/guest house and relax for the day for acclimatization. Dinner & overnight stay at camps/guest house/Home stay.
After breakfast drive for approx. 2 Hrs to reach Nabhidhang village and from here witness AUM parvat. The Village Nabhidhang is the last village on this road and is 30 Kms from Lipula Pass and beyond Lipula pass is China. ON a clear weather you can witness Kailash Parwat from Sela pass. After a spectacular view return back to your base camp entoute visit Kali Mata Mandir, Vyas Gufa. Rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy some time in the Himalayas by meditating. This is the day that you embark on the JOURNEY OF LIFE TIME to witness Adi Kailash – ABODE OF SHIVA. After an early breakfast commence your journey to reach village Jollykong enroute drive past Pandava Fort, PandavaParvat, Parvati Mukut. From Jolly kong the last road head from here you will start your pad yatra to Kailash Parvati temple, Parwati Sarovar. You can also do parikrama of the sarovar. The trek is approx. 4 Kms trek and further trek to Gaurikund and also witness Bhim ki Kethi. A lot of folk tales of the area will give you an insight of the valley. After your darshan return back to base at Jollykong and drive to Kuti/Nabhi/Gunji. Dinner & overnight stay at camps/guest house/Home stay.
After your breakfast drive back to Dharchula and change over your vehicles and drive further to reach Pithoragarh. On arrival check in at hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
After breakfast check out & drive to Rudrapur enroute visit Advaita Ashram. Later drive to reach Rudrapraur. Check in at Hotel. Relax for the day at a luxurious Hotel before end of the trip. Dinner & Overnight stay.
After breakfast you are on your last lap of your journey. Drive back to your respective departure destination with pious memories of ADI KAILASH & AUM PARVAT YATRA

MEALS
During your stay at beyond Dharchula hotel the meals that would be provided at Guest Houses/Home stay/Camps are on fixed menu basis.
Breakfast would serve Tea/coffee, Parantha & curd, Poori Bhaji or similar.
Dinner menu - 01 Veg + 01 Dal + Roti, + Rice+ ACP+ Sweet(Please note there could be changes in menu depending availability of vegetables)
During your stay in Bhimtal, Pithoragarh, Lohaghat hotels would be served on fixed menu basis and has variety of dishes on the buffet.
HOTELS
The hotels being provided in the itinerary are basic hotels/Homestays/Camping in places like Gunji, Nabhi&Kuti. Since these hotels have very basic amenities you are advised not to expect facilities like hotels in metro cities. The destination is opened for tourists after independence as road are being developed throughout the circuit.
Basic amenities like electricity are not available. However, hotels/home stay/camps/guest houses have power back up for limited usage only till 9-10 PM.
All the accommodations are on dormitory style basis during your stay beyond Dharchula. The accommodation 4/5/6 sharing basis beds. Thus, for two families we shall split the group for women & for men for stay only.
The toilets are common toilets and a separate toilet block is located nearer to the accommodation. There is a separate toilet block which yatris have to use. During the use of Toilet blocks bucket of hot water is provided to the yatris.
The accommodation for your stay in Bhimtal, Pithoragarh, Lohaghat are 3 star facilities and all facilities are available like hot and cold water, attached toilets, TV etc. The food as well at these hotels would be served on fixed menu basis and has variety of dished on the buffet.
Also note that we reserve the right to change hotels any point of time after the booking is confirmed. This may happen due to non-operational room/un availability/bouncing of room by hotel as this is a remote destination and hotels have small room inventories.
IN case of any road block or natural calamity additional nights/stays involved guests have to bear the costs on directly payment basis.
NO refunds allowed in case of last minute cancellation or due to road blocks.
TRANSPORT
We would provide with good vehicles such as sedan, MUV/ Mini Vans, however, you are advised to keep patience as driver may not be able to drive fast due to hilly terrain, bad roads, traffic etc.
We shall provide 4x4 vehicles after Dharchula as our vehicles cannot reach upto Adi Kailash. These would be Bolero Camper Jeeps in which max 4 persons would be allowed.

The parking lots at these destinations are limited you are advised to set up the time & place with driver to pick you up on your return.
Since we do not have good transport beyond Bhimtal, it may take some time to replace vehicle and you would have to travel on the alternate option provided by us.
At times you may have to pay directly on the spot to hire a local vehicle in event of your transport vehicle breakdown.
We do not recommend travel in vehicles after 8 PM. In case clients gets delay due to whatsoever reason and cannot reach to the hotel booked for them, they would have to stay at the nearest destination and no refund would be allowed for unutilized services.
We shall provide necessary back up in event of any break down however, guest has to bear the cost of additional vehicle deployed
CONNECTIVITY
Mobile connectivity is rare along the whole drive. Though you may get connectivity at times during your travel. Thus you are advised to keep you driver informed of pick up timings & meeting places

Permits for travel are to obtained from Local Uttarakhand district government & police authorities. Thus, these offices are closed on Sundays. National Holidays & some restricted holidays.
Thus it is advisable for all the guests traveling must send us the documents as mentioned above at least 15-20 days prior to arrival enabling us to procure necessary permits.
INDEMINITY BOND & EVACUATION BOND
All the guests must have to fill an indemnity bond provided by us compulsorily. These bonds must be signed by all the guests traveling individually. IN case of absence of indemnity bond we shall not let the clients travel after Dharchula. Also all arrangements for your stay would be considered as cancelled and no refunds would be allowed
For Helicopter evacuation bond shall also be signed by all the guests traveling. The same would be applicable in case of Helicopter evacuation. All the expenses of Helicopter evacuation would be borne be the guests.

GENERAL INFORMATION
We have tried our best to provide all the information on Adi Kailash & Aum Parvat.
However, we reserve the right to change the program as per the requirement of clients & availability of accommodation and other reasons.
The program is involving treacherous hill drives and clients have to be informed about the climatic conditions in Uttarakhand during yatra from extreme hot to extreme cold. Also during the yatra season due to heavy rush there are lot of traffic jams, diversions and restrictions put by the authorities.
During yatra season the Traffic is allowed on the roads from 5 AM Till 8 PM and there after traffic is not allowed at all. In case passengers get delayed due to traffic congestion & landslide which is beyond our control may not be able to reach the hotel booked for them would have to bear the expenses of their stay for that night.
IMPORTANT NOTE
It is mandatory to carry a valid photo identity card (Passport / Driving Licence / Voter ID card).
In case of delay / Cancelations / bouncing of flights /We request you to first Contact the Duty Manager at Airport and get your Ticket for next available flight / Refund notification if any.
In case of any political instability & instability due to bad climatic conditions, the guest will have to make their own arrangement for hotels/ transfers.

Don’ts
Do carry sufficient heavy woolens clothes including sweaters, woolen thermal body warmers, trousers, monkey caps, mufflers and any other cold fighting apparel. Other items needed to be carried are wind sheeters, raincoats, sleeping bags, blankets, water proof shoes with sufficient grips, torch with sufficient batteries and walking sticks. Ladies are advised to avoid sarees. Instead body hugging clothing like Salwar Kamiz, pants, etc are advised.
Alcohol is strictly prohibited
Carry dry eatable stocks with you viz, biscuits, Sugar, Candies, Chocolates, milk powder, assorted dry fruits, honey, lemons and tinned foods and other items suiting your palates. Water bottle, spoons, tumblers, saucers and plates may also be carried. Don’t throw wrappers of chocolates etc. on road or in the forest trek during journey, better to use dustbins if possible otherwise keep it in your pocket and throw when you find dustbin.
Don’t overstrain on steep gradients.
Registered pony walla, porter, dandy man may only be hired. They are available for prefixed tariffs.
Don’t relax at place where warning signs are fixed.
Ponies carrying luggage and eatables should remain with you all the time. At no point of time should you get out of touch with them. This is to avoid inconvenience.
Don’t break traffic discipline.
Move slowly and steadily, as this is an arduous pilgrimage and maintain discipline.
Avoid carrying heavy Jewellery during journey.
Instructions of Yatra officer should be adhered to.
Don’t try to wash hands/ clothes/ bath in the rivers en-route your way.
Carry sufficient money to pay for your personal expenses.
It is always advisable to carry your own personal medical kit and First aid box
